Margaux is a French filmmaker born in Italy and raised in the United States. Growing up, she created videos for art galleries in Chicago and interned for 6 months at the Chicago International Film Festival. In 2019, she started her Bachelors Degree at University of the Arts London. She focused on producing and was part of many projects as a Producer, Production Manager and Production Coordinator. She also interned at Bangumi, one of the biggest French production companies that creates factual content, including popular talk show Quotidien.
While producing, she also pursued her love for screenwriting. Her experiences in producing and screenwriting have led her to write and direct The Pigeon of Waterloo, which she had the honour to work with a wonderful crew and cast, including twice-BAFTA nominated David Carlyle.
After graduating film school, she worked as a producer for commercials. She then decided to create her own company, Flea Productions, dedicated to collaborating with emerging talents to develop engaging narratives. Alongside her work as a freelance film producer and writer, she works in television to continue to explore different sides of the industry. Her directorial debut, The Pigeon of Waterloo, and her latest films as a producer, Twenty and Look Away, are currently screening internationally at film festivals.
